An Air End (also called an airend or screw element) is the core compression unit in a rotary screw air compressor. It generates compressed air by meshing rotors and is critical to airflow output, efficiency, and stable operating temperature. When an air end wears, you may notice reduced CFM, higher oil carryover, abnormal noise, rising discharge temperatures, or longer loading times to build pressure.
FridayParts supplies replacement air ends and related service items for popular compressor lines such as Atlas Copco GA series, Ingersoll Rand UP6, and more (fitment depends on part number).
If you’re unsure which air end fits your compressor, send your compressor model/serial and the OEM number from the nameplate or old unit—we’ll help confirm compatibility. For valves, fittings, cylinders, and other compressed-air hardware, browse our Pneumatic Parts category.
