    Description:
Manufactured by Basler Electric, the BE2000E is a digital automatic voltage regulator with a wide range of functionalities and features. Brushless type, this regulator can work with PMG excitation generators. It also comes with the VAR-PF option that controls and parallels among generators as well as the mains utility.

Basler BE2000E is a perfect replacement for Marathon Electric machines that come with DVR2000 and DVR2000EC voltage regulators. It is a solid-state, microprocessor-based control regulator that works by controlling the current that flows into the generator exciter. The input power to the DVR2000E originates from multiple-pole, high-frequency, Permanent Magnet Generator (PMG).

Basler BE2000E AVR is housed in an encapsulated package that is designed for behind-the-panel mounting. Its front panel LED indicators herald the regulator’s status and system conditions. The regulator’s connections are made through quarter-inch, easy to connect terminals located on the rear panel. The 9-pin DB-9 type connector on the rear panel provides the link between the regulator and an IBM compatible personal computer.

    Key specifications:
Soft start control with an adjustable, time setting in AVR control mode
    Programmable stability settings
Up to four control modes – Manual Current Regulation (FCR), Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), Reactive Power Regulation (VAR), and Power Factor Regulation (PFR).
Single or three-phase generator voltage regulation/sensing in AVR mode
    Overtemperature protection
    Under-frequency Volt and Hertz regulation
A single common output relay for trip functions as well as alarm indication.
